NETANYAHU SLAMS BOYCOTT : Palestinian anti-Israel push grows
JERUSALEM - Israel faces an " international campaign to blacken its name " aimed at delegitimizing its very existence no matter what its policies are, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday. The international community disproportionally singles out the Jewish state for condemnation while remaining silent on major conflicts & human rights abuses in other countries, he said. Netanyahu made the comments Sunday at a meeting of his new Cabinet just two days after a Palestinian proposal to suspend Israel from world football was dropped at the last moment. Netanyahu warned that such efforts to boycott Israel continue. Palestinians accelerated their campaign to boycott Israel & Israeli-made products after peace talks collapsed last year. " We are in the midst of a great struggle being waged against the state of Israel, an international campaign to blacken its name. It is not connected to our actions ; it is connected to our very existence. It does not matter what we do ; it matters what we symbolize & what we are," Netanyahu said. " I think that it is important to understand that these things do not stem from the fact that if only we were nicer or a little more generous - we are very generous, we have made many offers , we have made many concessions - that anything would change because this campaign to delegitimize Israel entails something much deeper that is being directed at us & seeks to deny our very right to live here," he said. The Israeli prime minister said the Palestinian boycott is reminiscent of similar attacks the Jewish people faced in the past. " Now, this is a phenomenon that we have known in the history of our people. What hasn't been said about the Jewish people ? They said that we are the focus of all evil in the world. All of these things are being said about us today as well. It was not true then & it is not true today. This does not have a shred of truth," he said. Netanyahu said that he was pleased the Palestinian attempt to have Israel suspended from FIFA, world soccer's governing body, was rebuffed in the end , but warned that Israel will face similar boycott efforts in the future.

PROPHECY INSIGHTS - In the aftermath of the FIFA scandal , Israel's Prime Minister has spoken out against the escalating Palestinian campaign to delegitimise Israel in the eyes of the international community. The hostility between Israel & the Palestinians ( known in the scriptures as the ' Philistines ' ) dates back to biblical times. As a people , they are Israel's inveterate enemies , a race that has been a thorn in the side of God's people for perpetuity. Even in the 21st century they continue to be harass & goad Israel into conflicts , while continuing to make false claims to Israel's ' God-given ' land.
From their earliest childhood years to adulthood , Palestinians are indoctrinated with hate-filled rhetoric against their Israeli neighbors. Their global campaign to malign & boycott Israel has increasingly found sympathetic ears in global bodies such as the United Nations , Amnesty International & in more recent times , former allies within the EuroUnion. However , their exaggerated grievances against Israel are actually part of a larger, sinister campaign to expunge the Jewish state completely. But their efforts to erase the Jewish nation will fail. Among the many bible prophecies that speak of the destiny of this anti-semitic people , the prophet Jeremiah is just one that speaks of their coming demise . . .
JEREMIAH 47 v 1-4 - The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet against the Philistines ( Palestinians ) . . . . Thus saith the LORD ; Behold , waters ( nations ) rise up ' out of the north ' ( Russia , Iran etc. ) & shall be an overflowing flood & shall overflow ' the land ' ( Israel ) & all that is therein ; the city ( Jerusalem ) & them that dwell therein : then the men shall cry & all the inhabitants of the land shall howl . . . Because of THE DAY that cometh to spoil all the Philistines ( Palestinians ) & to cut off from Tyrus ( Lebanon ) & Zidon ( Lebanon ) every helper that remaineth : for the LORD will spoil the Philistines ( Palestinians )
