SYRIAN REVOLUTION
The ' blood-bath ' in Syria continued into 2013 with the death toll of 60,000 quickly soaring to 125,000+ by United Nations estimates. With the hidden & incalculable human suffering mounting , over a million refugees fleeing & destabilising neighbouring countries : this crisis appears to have ' no solution '. CHAOS IN EGYPT
The 2011 Egyptian Revolution - the ' first ' in 6,000 years of Egyptian history - was a political ' earthquake ' of enormous proportions & was ' fore-told ' in Isaiah 19. As Syria's crisis deepens , RUSSIA has refused international pleas to help stop the horrific atrocities being committed by Assad. Worse still , Russia has supported the brutal regime & openly supplied weapons to Syria , including lethal surface-to-air missiles , presently manned by Russian soldiers ... in Syrian territory !! Its an ongoing policy of 'challenging & defying Western [ US-UK ] power & influence in the region. RUSSIA has condemned US-Israeli actions & policy , & in 2013 has flexed its military muscle with massive naval exercises in the Mediterranean & Black Seas sending a ' warning ' to the West to stay away from RUSSIA's interests in Syria. While ' severe budgetary cut-backs ' weaken USA's military , RUSSIA is preparing for its ' COMING INVASION ' of Israel & the Mid-East ( foretold in the Bible ) announcing a massive 5 Trillion Rouble expansion of its navy , with 78 new warships ( 8 nuclear + 16 conventional submarines + 54 warships )

CHINA - JAPAN FLASH POINT
Simmering tensions between China & Japan have risen to boiling point in 2013 , with a dispute over the contested Senkaku / Diaoyu Islands leaving both bristling diplomatically & militarily & on the cusp of open conflict. Amid Japan's growing unease over China's rising power & increased forceful stance over the disputed islands , which China continues to challenge Japan's sovereignty of , with territorial incursions & scrambling of fighter jets , leaving the region on a knife-edge. NORTH KOREAN ' NUCLEAR ' CRISIS
Despite being an impoverished nation with meagre resources , the military dictatorship of North Korea with its new' man-child ' leader Kim Il Un , launched a barrage of ' nuclear threats ' against both South Korea & the United States. While full-scale war is considered unlikely , the war-mongering rhetoric & bellicose behaviour has caused serious destabilisation of the Korean Peninsula & deep concern among Asian nations. More discerning analysts understand ,it was more an exercise in North Korea providing a ' global distraction ' to divert world attention away from IRAN ( its nuclear partner & fellow pariah state ) as Iran's regime nears the ' final stages ' of its nuclear weaponization program
Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles [ nations ] ; PREPARE WAR , wake up the mighty men , let all the men of war draw near ; let them come up. Beat your plowshares into swords & your pruninghooks into spears ; LET THE WEAK say , I AM STRONG.

U.S. FINANCIAL CRISIS & SEQUESTRATION
After two costly wars in Iraq & Afghanistan , United States is war-weary & financially drained. Coupled with a ballooning $17 Trillion national debt & a big-spending Govt that is disinterested in financial responsibility - the USA is in the midst of the death rattles. It is no longer able to be the ' world's policeman '. It is BANKRUPT. The ongoing budgetary crises & political grid-lock has brought America to its knees , forcing severe cut-backs to its military & even forcing a withdrawal of one of its two aircraft carrier battle groups from the critical Persian Gulf region. Almost unthinkable given the volatile & crucial oil corridors there. Traditional foes around the world , Russia , China , Iran , North Korea , Syria & Islamists sense America's weakness & so we see these nations ' testing & challenging ' USA's declining global reach & influence. LEGALISATION OF ' SAME-SEX ' MARRIAGE
Moral decay is ' sweeping ' the world. Nation after nation is abandoning the sacred foundation of ' marriage between one man & one woman ' by the legalisation of " same-sex marriage ". In 2013 , nations such USA , NewZealand , France , Uruguay & Britain have continued the rush of nations passing laws to embrace gay marriage. Far worse , many churches & religious groups ( incl. Church of England , Quakers , pts. United Church ) have also forsaken their stance on God's commandments regarding marriage & even allow ' openly homosexual ' bishops & pastors. This descent into an immoral abyss , is the culmination of man's rejection of God & the elevation of ' human rights ' above the Creator's Will.
God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts , to DISHONOUR THEIR OWN BODIES between themselves : Who changed the truth of God into a lie & worshipped & served the creature more than the Creator who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections : for even their WOMEN did change the natural use into that which is against nature : And likewise also THE MEN , leaving the natural use of the woman , burned in their lust one toward another ; MEN with MEN working that which is unseemly & ' receiving in themselves ' THAT RECOMPENCE [ AIDS Virus ] of their error which was meet. TURKEY IN CRISIS . . . IS IT ' ARAB SPRING 2.0 ' ??
JUNE 2013 : Tensions in Turkey have escalated as violent protests raged against the Islamist Govt. of President Recep Erdogan Tayyip. At least 5 people died in clashes between enraged Turkish protestors & govt riot police. The uprising - largely in response to the President's increasingly ' dictatorial rule ' - threatens to spread & unhinge Turkey's politcal stability. Turkey's northern super-power neighbor RUSSIA will be watching closely !! Geographically , Turkey is Russia's ' gateway ' to the MiddleEast & Bible Prophecy speaks repeatedly of a ' latter-day ' invasion of Israel by a great northern army ( Russia ) With recent events showing Russian President Vladimir Putin ' eyeing ' newly found gas & oil reserves in the Mediterranean Sea , the destabilising effect of these spreading protests may well precipitate Russia's coming involvement in Turkey's domestic affairs & result in Turkey being ' at Russia's side ' as it invades the Middle East & Israel

BREAKING NEWS : 23 June 2013 - Just 2 days after President Obama announced the U.S. will ' finally ' begin providing small arms & military assistance to the Syrian Rebels -- TURKEY issues a statement saying it is ' blocking ' all future movements of Western aid thro' its territory to the Syrian rebels , in a major embarassment for USA & a set-back to the Syrian rebels. TURKEY [ a long-standing strategic ally of USA & member of NATO ] stated its dramatic change in policy , was due to ' fears of Russian retribution ' if Turkey continued allowing US & NATO weapons through to Syria. Just as the Bible ' fore-told ' . . . TURKEY is now swinging her loyalties to RUSSIA

July 22 , 2013 : With the joyous announcement of the birth of His Royal Highness Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge , the world celebrated the arrival of a future king. Over the past 3 years , the British Royal Family has been a remarkable foreshadow of glorious events that will come to pass after the coming period of global war & chaos - the Great Tribulation. From the flawless spectacle of the 2011 Royal Wedding ( a pre-type of the coming 'marriage' btwn Christ & His true followers ) to the 2012 Queen's 60th Diamond Jubilee Celebrations - it is NOT by co-incidence - these events have mesmerised the global audience for their splendour & majesty. The hand of the Almighty has been presiding over these events , to ensure mankind has a small foretaste & insight into the joys of His coming Kingdom. Now with the 2013 Birth of a Royal Son & Future King , we see the prefigurement of the final chapter - the coming arrival of a new & righteous King who will bring an end to war , suffering & mankind's corrupt rule & replace these with true happiness & peace for all mankind.

The Bible clearly describes in the "LATTER DAYS " a coming ' global economic & social disaster ' that will soon befall ALL mankind. UKRAINE ABANDONS EURO-UNION ( WHY IT MATTERS !! )
In late 2013 the streets of the Ukrainian capital Kiev have erupted in violent protests & brutal govt crackdowns. The explosion of violence has been the result of the Ukraine President's sudden abandonment of the nation's progression toward a pro-Western Euro Union membership. The shock reversal is a ' geo-political earthquake ' as the former-Soviet Ukraine has stated it will return to its historical master Russia. It follows a series of ' threats ' from Russian President Vladimir Putin , that Ukraine would face severe ' retailiation ' if Kiev signed up to any EU deal. It continues Russia's an overt policy of pressure & intimidation of the former Soviet-states to join Putin's ' Customs Union ' axis. The Ukraine's seismic about-face is a ' sinister development ' not only because it highlights Russia's aggressive resurgence towards hegemony of its neighbouring states , but critically , the Ukraine is the explosive geo-political faultline between East & West. Traditionally , a Soviet satellite , the Ukraine is now a renegade trying to escape from Putin's Imperial ambitions. Vladimir Putin will not relinquish it without a fight. As the Ukraine falls back under the iron-grip of its Russian overlords we can clearly see the impending prophetic fulfillment of the final Russian-led conflict - a global ' nuclear ' war .

U.S.A . . . DEMISE OF A ' SUPER-POWER '
Since 9/11 in 2001 , the United States has been accelerating towards disaster. The 9/11 Attack seemed to be a symbollic death-knell , signalling the ' beginning of the end ' for this world super-power. In the 12 years since , America has suffered an ever-increasing string of catastrophic natural disasters. From Hurricane Katrina to Superstorm Sandy , to record Wildfires , Droughts & Heatwaves ; to historic Blizzards & epic Floods ; & unprecedented Tornado seasons - it has seemed that America has literally been the subject of divine wrath ... & it HAS been !!!
There are two fundamental reasons for America's demise. Firstly , the United States has forsaken its roots. As a nation , it was founded on godly Bible-based values , its Founders , its Consititution & its Laws were established upon Biblical principles & tenets. In recent years , America has become a largely godless & secular society , having turned its back on God's Ways & embraced immorality & idolatry , such as materialism , humanism , promiscuity & liberality. As a nation , she is reaping what she has sowed.
The second reason is tied to America's longstanding ally , Israel. As the chosen people of God , Israel has yet to recognize her Savior & King , the Lord Jesus Christ ... & her time of trouble is coming. Bible Prophecy , is very clear that , at the Time of the End , Israel in her affliction , will be defenseless & alone , deserted by ' all ' her lovers. As we witness the Obama Administration - vocally support the pre-1967 Border 'Peace Proposal' - we see Israel increasingly isolated & vulnerable to her many enemies. America , as it now abandons God's people Israel - is in this way - fulfilling prophecy.
Today in 2013 , with a littany of burgeoning social , political & economic problems , the United States is no longer the ' pre-eminent ' global super-power. It is bankrupt & broken. Beset by political grid-lock , scandals , astronomic national debt , out-of-control govt spending , over-regulation & corruption - the once mighty USA is now ' beyond ' life support. It's collapse is now just a matter of time ... & it's global enemies sense it. Russia , China , Iran , North Korea & Islamist nations are preparing for the coming power vaccuum. But what does the BIBLE say of America ... ?
God's Word ' never ' mentions the USA by name. However , several passages in scripture do seem to indicate the USA is either ' out of the picture ' or only plays a small , limited role ( behind ' the old Lion ' Great Britain ) in the global conflict of the ' Latter Days '. It is clear Great Britain is the ' King of the South ' that willl challenge Russia ( the northen invader ) as it moves to invade Israel. Given the USA's present national woes , it seems likely America is beset with domestic problems ( ie. economic collapse ) or is simply a ' weakened & benign ' military participant in the coming global conflict.
