SECRET RUSSIAN-IRAN TALKS : Iranian Chief calls Putin to arms

MOSCOW – The head of Iran’s elite military Quds Force, who is subject to a United Nations travel ban , has visited Russia , two U.S. security sources said on Friday. Qassem Soleimani , chief of the force which is an overseas arm of the Revolutionary Guards , has been subject to an ' international travel ban & asset freeze ' by the U.N. Security Council since 2007.

Fox News reported that Soleimani had arrived in Moscow on July 24 & met Russian President Vladimir Putin & Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu before departing three days later. A Kremlin spokesman ' denied ' any meeting between Soleimani & Putin had taken place , RIA news agency reported.

Two officials at the Russian Foreign Ministry said they could neither confirm nor deny a Soleimani visit to Moscow. The Russian defense ministry was not available for comment. Washington designated Soleimani’s Quds Force as a supporter of terrorism in 2007. The European Union did the same in 2011. Western governments & Israel accuse it of arming various militant groups in the Middle East. U.N. member states are required to deny entry to blacklisted individuals.

In the apocalyptic 38th chapter of Ezekiel's prophecy ( which details the outbreak of the end-times ' Battle of Armageddon ' ) in verse 8 the latter-day ' Gog ' is told " After many days thou shalt be visited " As the chapter describes this " visit " is the prophetic catalyst to the subsequent invasion of the Middle East - & ultimately Israel - by Russia's ' Gog ' & his accompanying ' confederacy of nations '. Other renderings of this phrase in verse 8 have the idea of a " call to arms / call to action " in a military sense. As military & political analysts have observed , the likely purpose of General Soleimani's trip to meet Vladimir Putin , was two-fold . . . to facilitate the Iranian purchase of Russian S-300 missiles & to procure Russia's involvement to prop up their mutual ally , Syria's Assad Regime. Russia's sudden deployment of military forces in recent days , is confirmation of the prophetic importance of this meeting & a troubling development that may be the foundation for Russia's coming invasion of ' many ' countries in the Middle East . . as foretold in God's Word.

EZEKIEL 38 v 7-8 - Be thou ( Russian ' Gog ' ) prepared & prepare for thyself , thou & all thy company that are assembled unto thee & be thou a ' guard ' unto them. After many days ' thou shalt be visited ' . . . ' in the latter years ' thou shalt come into the land ( Israel ) that is brought back from the sword & is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste : but is brought forth out of the nations & they shall dwell safely all of them.
