OBAMA DECIMATES US MILITARY Ability to defend nation marginal

UNITED STATES - The U.S. military is shedding so many troops & weapons it is only “ marginally able ” to defend the nation & falls short of the Obama administration’s national security strategy, according to a new report by The Heritage Foundation on Tuesday. “ The U.S. military itself is aging. It’s shrinking in size ” said Dakota Wood, a Heritage analyst. “ And it’s quickly becoming problematic in terms of being able to address more than one major conflict.” The U.S. military is rapidly approaching a one-war capable force , said Mr. Wood , a former Marine Corps officer & strategic planner. " So [it is] able to handle a major war & then having just a bit of residual capability to handle other minor crises that might pop up. But it is a far cry from being a two-war force.”

PROPHECY INSIGHTS - This report was heavily critical of how Obama has decimated the US military capability. It says that the US Army is shrinking from 570,000 soldiers to 440,000 or even lower & the Navy ( which is failing to a achieve a 300-ship Navy ) as only marginal in military power. The Navy would need 346 ships to carry out two large campaigns, Heritage said, but its fleet is only 284. On the other hand - Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday other countries should not think they can attain military superiority over Russia. " No one should have the illusion that they can gain military superiority over Russia, put any kind of pressure on it. We will always have an adequate answer for any such adventures. ” he said.

Bible Prophecy clearly indicates we expect an aggressive, resurgent Russia & a weaker US/UK. We expect this because when Russia does invade the Middle East , it has spent time preparing for war. There is ' no evidence ' in scripture to indicate America is an active participant in these end-time events. On the contrary , with Obama's increasingly ' isolationist ' foreign policies , down-sizing of the US military , refusal to confront Russian aggression , sympathies with Islamic nations & leaders , hostility toward Israel & his well-documented efforts to cut a nuclear deal with Iran ( in exchange for Iran's co-operation to handle the ISIS threat ) . . . it would seem America may very well endorse - & be a silent signatory to - the coming Russian-Iranian march into the Middle East.
